  3. Put your blog name and URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the the button up there and place it in a post (so people can say hi in the comments!).
  5. Follow, follow, follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just only a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs! Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI!"

  7. If you're new to the Follow Friday hop, comment and let Parajunkee & Alison know, so they can stop by and check out your blog!
Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

A: A book I want turned into movie? I have to say that's a hard one! Whenever I read a book, I always picture it as a movie in my mind so I'm always afraid that a real movie adaptation wouldn't live up to my expectations!

But I'll admit that there are tons I'd love to be adapted onto the big screen, like Julie Kagawa's The Iron Fey series or Divergent by Veronica Roth! Not sure who I'd choose as actors, though I'm pretty picky with that kind of stuff! x)

What about you? :)

HAPPY FOLLOW FRIDAY!

  7. I prefer when my books don't get turned into movies. I hate the hype that comes from a movie, and then I don't like the actors they choose.

  8. Oh I'd love for Divergent to be made into a movie, but like you, I always worry the movie won't live up to what I've created in my head. I wouldn't mind if they made Anna and the French Kiss into a movie either, that book was too cute:)

  12. I'm the same exact way, whenever I read a great book I always picture it as a movie in my head. I'd absolutely LOVE to see Divergent as a movie. That would be epic! And to see Four in person? Soo cool!

  13. Hey Mimi! Hopping through. :) Thanks for the visit and comment.
You know, I thought I was following you already, but GFC said I wasn't? That's curious. Ah well. I have fixed that now.
Iron Fey series, for the win! And I'd love to see Divergent as well. :) Did you know that Divergent has already been optioned for film? I don't know if it will get turned into one or not, but it's a possibility at the moment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, too. ^^

I also view books as movies in my head. But I don't get upset at all whenever a book is turned into a movie. They're two different forms of entertainment for me and I always cherish the books no matter what- but I can still go enjoy the movie and other people's interpretations, too. I can always go back, read the book, and watch my own "movie" when I want if I'm not completely satisfied with the other. ;)

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

I am sooo excited for The Hunger Games to be made into a movie! I really hope that it will be good and that Hollywood doesn't ruin it!! They usually do, but I have high hopes for this movie! :D

    Have a great weekend!
