May Release Giveaway!!


I'm back! My camping trip was a ton of fun (albeit a little sleep-depriving, but you know how these things go...), and I just wanted to thank all of you for wishing me the best and being patient with my busy schedule! You guys are awesome, you know that? ♥

And I just realized that I forgot to post this month's release giveaway, so here it is! The rules are the same as they are every month, but I've reposted them below, just in case. :)

The Rules:
  1. There will be one winner. 
  2. Giveaway ends on June 1, 2012 @ 12:01 a.m.
  3. Be a follower (through GFC or RSS).
  4. Be 13 or older.
  5. Live anywhere that The Book Depository ships to (which is basically everywhere!)
  6. Fill out the form.
The Prize: 

One winner will get to choose any one book of his/her choice from the list of anticipated near-May releases below. And trust me, there are A LOT of amazing ones this month! But if you would like another book that releases around this time instead, I could definitely substitute that in as long as it's under $20 (USD). :)

P.S. Does anybody know how to reply to comments so they go straight to a person's email address? (Not just on the post because no one really sees it.) Because I have no idea how, and there are so many times when I get giggle-worthy comments I'd love to  reply to but don't know how! Thanks so much! :)

    Hmmm...I'm not too sure! I know that on Wordpress people can 'subscribe to comments via email' as they comment on a post, but I'm not sure how you can ensure that your comments go to each commenter's email. :( SORRY HUN. *hugs you* I'll come back to check for any comments you make though!

    I think the way you reply to the comments through email is just that--you reply to the email sent notifying you of the comment! I have no clue, but I don't see why not! When people have replied to my comments, that's what it seemed like.

    Hey Mimi so glad you had an awesome time camping! We've had awful weather over here, it's raining all the time, can't wait until it brightens up and then I can finally read outside! Sorry I have no clue about the comment being sent to someone's email address I think it depends on how they comment as sometimes it comes up as no-replycomment@blogger.com so you can't reply back to them? I hope I'm making sense and not just yammering on! Thanks for the giveaway my lovely! :)

May is definitely an amazing month for books :D I'm not sure of how to reply to comments in such a way that it gets sent to their email. I guess they have to enable that option for that to happen but I dunno! I get why that would be great. By the time I get around t replying to comments I'm sure everyone else would've moved on and not checked back anyway. Let me know if you find a way :) Have an awesome week! :)

    YAY MIMI! I missed you! Glad you had a blast camping, but it's nice to have you back:) And thank you for the awesome giveaway, May is an amazing book month!

    Regarding the comments - do you have yours set up so you get an email notification? If so, I usually just respond to that email and it goes directly to them. Sometimes a lot of comments will appear in the same notification (at least with gmail), so then I just create a new email and send my response. Hope that helps!

    Mimi! So glad that you're back and you had such a great time. Although you might want to try and catch you a nap now that you're back home. I wish I could help with the comments thing but I'm unfamiliar as to how blogger comments are set up to work.

    I agree with above regarding comments, but make sure that an email comes up not no-reply@blogger or something similar. Some people don't have their profiles linked to email, and the commenter won't get your email and you waste your time. But a lot of people are linked up. :)

    Thanks for the giveaway, Mimi. If you set up your blogger account to get email notification, you can easily respond to people via email (as long as they've linked to an email address). Let me know if you need help.

    Thanks for the giveaway! There are soooooooooo many fabulous May releases!!! Clearly the book world is celebrating my birthday! LOL Since my B-Day is May 15th!

    About the comments...I wish I knew!!! I reply to all my review comments and I'm not sure if people are checking back. :-( I know disqus comments gives you a notice so I've been thinking about using disqus on my blog. Every once in a while I get a reply email from blogger but not sure how it happens! I know with wordpress the reply comes to my email.

    I tried the commenting thing suggested and a lot of the people had the noreply-comment@blogger.com thing come up but one person didn't. But that means I still have to reply on my blog and also in the email? LOL I was hoping I could reply on the blog and it automatically would email the person but I think that is only wordpress? Blogger really should make things more commenter friendly!

    Sadly I don't know anything about comment-reply things... I've seen comment reply notifications, but I think that was on Wordpress. On Disqus it's nice because it tells you when someone's replied to your comment.
