Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

A: A book I want turned into movie? I have to say that's a hard one! Whenever I read a book, I always picture it as a movie in my mind so I'm always afraid that a real movie adaptation wouldn't live up to my expectations!

But I'll admit that there are tons I'd love to be adapted onto the big screen, like Julie Kagawa's The Iron Fey series or Divergent by Veronica Roth! Not sure who I'd choose as actors, though I'm pretty picky with that kind of stuff! x)

What about you? :)

P.S.: You can enter my 300 Followers Giveaway if you haven't already! There are tons of awesome books to choose from! :)

  1. I love the Iron Fey series! And clearly I need to read Divergent, since I keep hearing good things about it. Old follower...

  2. I choice Divergent too. :D I'm pretty sure once I get going on The Iron King that I will likely agree with you about The Iron Fey as well. We shall see. :)

  3. A lot of people are picking Iron Fey! I want to read that series so bad!

  4. Hopping through. I'd definitely love to see Iron Fey as a movie or movies. Such fab books.

  5. The Iron Fey series would be excellent! :) Great choice, Mimi!

Hope you have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend! <3

    My FF!

  6. Hello and Happy Friday :)

Great choices! I loved The Iron Fey & Divergent.

    Have a great weekend.

  7. I prefer when my books don't get turned into movies. I hate the hype that comes from a movie, and then I don't like the actors they choose.

  8. Oh I'd love for Divergent to be made into a movie, but like you, I always worry the movie won't live up to what I've created in my head. I wouldn't mind if they made Anna and the French Kiss into a movie either, that book was too cute:)

  9. I'd love the see The Iron Fey series as a movie, but they better get the casting of ASH right. He needs to be completely gorgeous!

    Happy Weekend, Mimi! :)

  10. I really need to read the Iron Fey series!
Not a old follower but not new either.

  11. I'd love to see both of these made in to movies :) I think Divergent would be especially awesome! I'd love to see all the stuff they have to go through for initiation :) Awesome choices!!

  12. I'm the same exact way, whenever I read a great book I always picture it as a movie in my head. I'd absolutely LOVE to see Divergent as a movie. That would be epic! And to see Four in person? Soo cool!

  13. Hey Mimi! Hopping through. :) Thanks for the visit and comment.
You know, I thought I was following you already, but GFC said I wasn't? That's curious. Ah well. I have fixed that now.
Iron Fey series, for the win! And I'd love to see Divergent as well. :) Did you know that Divergent has already been optioned for film? I don't know if it will get turned into one or not, but it's a possibility at the moment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, too. ^^

I also view books as movies in my head. But I don't get upset at all whenever a book is turned into a movie. They're two different forms of entertainment for me and I always cherish the books no matter what- but I can still go enjoy the movie and other people's interpretations, too. I can always go back, read the book, and watch my own "movie" when I want if I'm not completely satisfied with the other. ;)

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

  14. Divergent would be a really great movie! It was definitely a spectacular read :D

I am sooo excited for The Hunger Games to be made into a movie! I really hope that it will be good and that Hollywood doesn't ruin it!! They usually do, but I have high hopes for this movie! :D

    Have a great weekend!

  15. New follower passing through, The Iron Fey Series is a great pick, I haven't finished the series yet.

  16. Wow, this paragraph is good, my sister is analyzing such things,
