With enemies threatening to tear them apart, the lovers seem doomed. But it's the arrival of Wendy Darling, an English girl who's everything Tiger Lily is not, that leads Tiger Lily to discover that the most dangerous enemies can live inside even the most loyal and loving heart.

ReplyDeleteComaCalm's Corner
I hadn't heard of Want / it reminds me of virtuosity I've added it to my wishlist :)
ReplyDeleteCOVERS! SO PRETTYFUL! MY EYES! THEY BURST INTO FLAMES! Well, maybe not flames, maybe flowers? Flowers are softer and prettier than angry flame :) I so adore the colouring on Want and there's something about Preloved that is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAHHH I want to read so many of these! I am especially excited for Tiger Lily! AND Burn for Burn! And A Want so Wicked! And... can I just have them all? Now? :D
Ooh Want has an awesome cover! However, when I first saw it I read "wart" Lol.
ReplyDeleteI especially love Want, the cover is completely gorgeous! The piano is such a great touch to the cover. I also love the colors used in Burn For Burn. Guess I'm a sucker for a pastel color! <3 Tiger Lily is one of my most anticipated books this year. Peter Pan might be one of my childhood crushes LOL! x) The Breakaway reminds me of Stolen by Lucy Christopher, so I can't wait to get my hands on it! :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing post, Mimi! ♥
I love actual books because of their covers ... and these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these posts, Mimi, as I'm sure I've said many times before. Hehe. I just love covers so much! The cover for Tiger Lily is so, so, so gorgeous. I'm kind of sad that the ARCs have different covers, though. :( And the cover for Want is absolutely beautiful as well! Thanks for sharing these soft and sweet covers, Mimi. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cover posts :D And I LOVE THESE COVERS! Also that there are books that I hadn't heard of before that I really, really want to read now! Tiger Lily sounds soo good, as does The Breakaway! The Breakaway sounds really intense. Added so many more books to be to-read list. Thanks for sharing, Mimi :)
ReplyDeleteWOW... Gorgeous covers!! Me likey! Love your blog, and thanks so much for sharing!! :)

YOU GOT A PA DAY? *burning jealousy* Haha, I hope you enjoyed it! :) I think I had a lockdown on that day so I guess that counts as missing class time? I did manage to sneak a book with me under the desk after all.
ReplyDeleteCAN I HAVE THESE BOOKS PLEASE? *puppy dog eyes* I've actually always sucked at that but I'm willing to work on it for these beauties. Tiger Lily sounds crazy amazing (Peter Pan! Tinkerbell! <3) and the cover is so pretty.
Want is one I've never heard of (you always manage to sneak some undiscovered gems on here!) but it sounds so good. Really intense, but great. I love books where the stakes are high, you know? I also love books where the stakes are low... I think I just need a job as a professional YA reader.
Oh sorry, did I say Want looked intense? Take a look at The Breakaway!! Kidnap, disinterested parents, abusive boyfriend, family of criminals, kidnapper/criminal lover... where does it end?! Hopefully with the girl safe and happy :) Seriously though, I'm curious about how this one would play out! I mean obviously going back to an abusive relationship and HORRIBLE parents (2 days?!?) isn't ideal but I can't imagine life with your kidnapper is a healthy alternative. I hope this one has some good character development!
And ahhh, A Want So Wicked. I still haven't read ANSB but I've only read I think 1 negative review and the rest have been great. If you like it, I'll need to check it out! <3
AND AWWWWW. THE HEAVEN COVER IS SO ADORABLE. I've always admired the covers for the series (gorgeous, all of them) but I've never picked up one of the books mostly because of the almost overwhelmingly negative reviews I've read. Still though, that cover = perfect. (A heart, Mimi, a heart! *wipes tear*)
Fabulous selections!
Sonia
Hi there Mimi! I just die over pretty covers! I love Want and Preloved.
ReplyDeleteI'm always so tempted by a pretty cover and I've been victim a few times to "cover fraud" where the insides do not match the pretty outsides. Let's hope these are not that type. Great collection! :)
Oh, I absolutely adore the cover of Want. o: And Tiger Lily just looks fantastic inside and out! I'm super intrigued by them all though. I'm loving the covers on the new releases lately:)
