Read this. Loved this. And holy wow, I never stop getting awed about how Rachel Vincent is a genius!! If you missed my interview with Tod and Nash on Friday, you can find that HERE. I just love this series SO much, and wowie zowie... Please buy this book! :')

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter

Squeeeeeeeeeee! You don't know how excited I am to have managed to get my hands on a copy of this! Not only is the cover gorgeous, but Alice + zombies - the "wonder" in "wonderland" = absolutely awesome! Will be starting this one after my final exams!!

Dark Star by Bethany Frenette

I wanted to read this book ever since I heard it was about superheroes (and I watched The Avengers movie), so to have this gorgeous copy in my hands is like a dream come true! :)

What Happens Next by Colleen Clayton

I've heard this one is really sweet for a contemporary, so I couldn't help but be curious! It's about a girl who has one of those blacked out nights that I'm pretty sure a lot of people are familiar with. And I really like the cover!

The book came with a waterproof e-reader case, which I thought was kinda funny since I don't have an e-reader LOL. But I'm passing it off to my cousin, who does, so she can read at the beach :)

I finished this one a few days ago and loved it like crazy! It's definitely one of my favourite contemporaries of all time and an absolute must read!  It's not a review book, but I'm going to desperately try to fit it into my review schedule for this month anyways :)

The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead 

ADRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. That is all I have to say. :') 

Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock 

This is one of my fave books of the year and my absolute fave werewolf book of all time. I would recommend it to anyone who likes werewolves, mysteries, awesomeness, or reading! ;)

Doesn't this one look so creepy-cool? I'm a sucker for stories about stories about sisters, and this one has three of them. That counts for a triple whammy, right? ;)

Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh

Oh my gosh!!! Isn't it beautiful?? When this one arrived in the mail, I literally gave a thousand-amped squeal because Nevermore was one of my favourite reads of 2010, and this was one of my most anticipated of 2012! I can't wait to start it tonight!

Fathomless by Jackson Pearce

I have this HUGE love for Jackson Pearce because no matter what she writes, it's always absolutely beautiful and creative. This one's about the sea creatures we know and love, but I'm postive she'll make it her own. :)

I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga

I already read and reviewed this book last week, and it was SO SO good! People are saying it was a lot like Dexter (which I don't know), but I DO know Criminal Minds, and if you love that show like I do, then you'll love this for sure! ;)

Mister Death's Blue-Eyed Girls by Mary Downing Hahn

I've never heard of this one before, but doesn't it sound really good? It's about a guy who gets accused of murder even though he's innocent, and the girl who believes him. Yay for mysteries!

Pilgrims Don't Wear Pink by Stephanie Kate Strohm

Tell me you didn't look at this book and think, "That is SO Mimi!" Because even my mom took one look at the cover and pegged it as my kind of book LOL. I'll be starting this one soon! :)

Enchanted by Alethea Kontis

I actually already read & reviewed an ARC of this one a few months ago (you can read my review HERE), but I loved it so much that having a gorgeous finished copy come was a really nice surprise! I'll probably end up gifting it to a friend to share the love like I always do with extra copies :)

The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze

I just finished reading this one last night and surprisingly enjoyed it! I'll be reviewing this book sometime this week, so stay tuned!

Winter White by Jen Calonita

Soooooooooooo excited to read this one! I crazily-adored the first book, Belles, and you don't even know how pumped up I am to be able to meet up with my favourite girls, Mira and Izzie, again! It may not be coming out until October, but I'm starting it ASAP! ;)

GIFTED: 

A signed A Temptation of Angels bookmark and book plate from Michell Zink! Thank you so much, Michelle! They really go perfectly with the copy of A Temptation of Angels that I already owned. I still haven't read it yet, but as soon as my review schedule clears up, I definitely will :)

New Girl by Paige Harbison

This book was heavily hyped up by the usual blogs I follow when it first came out, some good, some bad... But I have to admit that the main reason I want to read this book is because I've heard that the MC's name isn't revealed until the very end, and I really want to know what it is! x)

Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder

This is going to be my first book by Maria V. Snyder! I tried to get Posion Study but they don't seem to have that one in my library anymore... Still, I've been recommended MVS since day one, and it's about time I found out what the hype's about! :)

I will never, ever, EVER get tired of getting books! You have to be a hard-core reader to understand that, which I'm sure all of you are too ;) Thank you so much to the fantastic representatives of Thomas Allen & Son and Hachette Book Group Canada for sending these squee-worthy books to me, and to Michelle Zink for the sweet bookmark and book plate! ♥

Mimi's Book Haul: Epic Edition!!

Hi, everyone! :)

Because of a few things that happened recently (which you can find out more about on Parajunkee'sView, Beautifully Invisible, and Grit & Glamour) I'm still not sure whether or not I'm going to continue supporting In My Mailbox hosted at The Story Siren anymore. I don't know what to think right now because I only just found out about it, but for now I think I'll try something different because I'm wholeheartedly against plagiarism.

Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross

This is my FAVOURITE book of 2012 so far! That might have to do with the fact that I've barely read any of these other awesome books yet (although Sarah Cross will be my idol anyways), but as of this moment, that statement holds totally true! :)

As you can tell, this week was a bundle of OH MY GOSH and HOLY WOW and crazy happy-dances about getting each and every one of them! Even as I write this post, I don't know how it became this epic. I could not be happier!

A million, gazillion, epic chocolate-coated THANK YOUs to Simon & Schuster Canada, Raincoast Books, Kensington Books, Sourcebooks Fire, HarperCollins Canada, Hachette Book Group Canada, and (as always) the most amazing publisher representatives for sending me all of these awesome books!

 YAY!! I literally squealed when this came in the mail since I've started to renew my love for vampires lately — and Ada is one of the sweetest authors I've ever talked to! She also surprised me with some gorgeous signed bookmarks too (which definitely beat out the paper scraps I'm so used to using). Review and excerpt posts to come really soon! :) 

 Ada also signed the book to me as well as the bookmarks, which made my day! Yes, that note says that she's also an awesome Canadian author. ;) A million hearts to you, Ada! ♥ Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

She's been shipping this series for so long that I couldn't help but read it right away, and it was AMAZING. If you haven't heard of this series before, you can read Brodie's review on Elemental, her review on Storm, or the first chapter of Storm. If you need anymore convincing after that, I'd be happy to find you a ride to the doctors for a mental check-up. :)

And my long-time BFF (who I've only met in person twice), Kaylee (who should really start blogging again), surprise-gifted me Spellcaster!! YAY! Somehow she always knows what book I want before I have a chance to buy it (since I absolutely adored the first book)! Kay, look out for a package next week. ;)

I think my mailbox is themed pink and green this week, which is funny because pink and green are two of my favourite colours (the other two being blue and purple)! :) But even if it wasn't, I'd still say that this mailbox  is year-making-worthy!

My camera is down for the week so I couldn't take pictures like I usually do (which made me sad because of how many beautiful books I have this week!), but that doesn't lessen the awesomeness one bit! March break is officially over so I won't have as much time to read as I'd like, but I think I can give up a few hours of sleep to make it work! ;)
