This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer
The Ultimate Sacrifice.Release Date: January 3, 2011
Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.
In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.

I was SO happy that the release date for this one was bumped closer to January! I don't know if I could've waited any longer to read this! Nightshade and Wolfsbane were two of my favourite werewolf books ever, and I can't wait to read what happens next! :)
Although I'm having mixed feelings about that cover. Calla looks a little scary... LOL x)

I still need to read Wolfsbane, but I have to say the tagline "The Ultimate Sacrfice" makes me very nervous! I don't like it when my characters die or get hurt:( I think I'll wait until this one comes out and then read Wolfsbane, then I won't have to wait at all!
ReplyDeleteI had this as my WOW last week. I really hope nothing traumatic happens but I am still looking forward to it!

I'm JUST reading Nightshade right now actually, so this is perfect timing ;) i'm loving it so far and can't believe I waited so long to read it! But I've been warned it has a cliff-hanger... but that's okay because I'm prepared with the next two!
ReplyDeleteMy WoW at Esther's Ever After
I'm so excited for Bloodrose! I can't wait to see how it all ends. Great pick :)
ReplyDeletePlease don't hit me! I haven't read the first or second book. I know! I feel so ashamed. I seriously need to get my act together and get the first book. I seriously need to read these books. lol.
ReplyDeleteYikes! That date is just around the corner and I still haven't read Wolfsbane. I'm kind of reluctant because I heard that Ren doesn't really come out, and I LOVE HIM!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I might wait until your review to decide. If my Ren doesn't get his HEA, then that will crush me.
I STILL haven't read the first two!!!! I fail!!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand, I would be very curious to read this one too. Like you know I really need to buy the second one too.
ReplyDeleteI still need to start this series but I love the cover! So mysterious and a little creepy... Thanks for sharing Mimi. Great pick!
